Production and Development Process
How AlvaForms are developed:
AlvaForms are created as forms to replicate the important fit angles, shapes and posture of the real human body. Our fit experts and experienced 3D modeling team use body scans, coupled with their knowledge of human anatomy and pattern construction to create the final AlvaForms.
All AlvaForms are created individually in 3D with our proprietary measurement tools, then sent to our precise computer controlled milling machines for the creation of the molds. As such, we are able to maintain a very high level of accuracy throughout the development process.
How AlvaForms are produced:
All AlvaForms are produced in our state-of-the-art AlvaChina manufacturing facility in Dong- Guan, China. We have developed specialized production and quality control processes to achieve the following attributes:
- Accuracy. AlvaForms have a maximum tolerance of 1/4 inch (0.6cm) on all required specifications.
- Repeatability. AlvaForms can be duplicated reliably so all your vendors are using the exact same AlvaForm. This is due to our digital development process and our accurate mold making process.
- Durability. AlvaForms are created from high-grade fiberglass and wrapped in top quality Irish linen to ensure longevity of the form.
- Quality. AlvaForm's production process has numerous in-production quality control processes to ensure that every aspect of the AlvaForm is accounted for.
The production time for AlvaForms is eight to ten weeks. AlvaForms are produced in batches and are placed into the production cycle monthly. We encourage key vendors to place their orders online prior to production, as this will ensure delivery in a timely manner.
How AlvaForms are distributed:
With AlvaForms becoming the fit standard within your supply chain, it is critical that your network of designers, sourcing offices and manufacturers are working from the same body standard. We have various value-added services geared toward assisting you in the implementation of AlvaForms.
- Secure Online Website Store: Your sourcing offices and all your vendors can purchase your AlvaForms directly from our online store. Through our brand login system, we are able to limit the ordering of your AlvaForms to your approved vendors only, securing your fit IP.
- Vendor Order Tracking Reports: Every month we will send you an Excel file including all orders of your AlvaForms. With this added transparency, you will be able to track your vendors' adoption of your fit standard.
- Co-Marketing efforts at vendor meetings and seminars: We are committed to help educate and market the value of AlvaForms and other Alvanon products to your supply chain.
- Expedited Shipping Services: AlvaForms are delivered locally within Hong Kong (FCA). For clients who require expedited shipping services, we also offer AlvaShip services (major courier services at a discounted rate).
