AlvaForm Children Series

The new AlvaForm Children series is the result of our development work with the ASTM International committee.

Analyzing our American database of more than 200,000 scanned bodies, we derived an average body for the boy and girl categories. We then applied non-linear grade rules that matched the changing body shape of children.

For Infants and children younger than the age of the 9, we examined data from the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and data from the ASTM panel of industry experts for body proportions and growth trends. Coupled with our vast global experience in development of realistic children forms, this information resulted in the most up-to-date, accurate children body forms in the industry.

These results were examined and approved by the panel of ASTM industry experts for release in the 2007 edition of the ASTM International book of standards.
